This app provides customized programs and workouts to push you to your limits, helping you achieve your fitness goals and get in the best shape of your life. Alive was planned and designed to be as simple as possible and easy to use. Focusing specifically on the workout experience so you have confidence during your workouts. We are excited to continue improving and evolving the app with our Alive community in the process. Features Programs Alive includes 20 different programs to choose from based on your personal goals. When you join a program you are guided through a full schedule of workouts that span over several weeks. This takes any guesswork out and keeps you focused on your goals. Challenges Alive strongly believes your mental health is just as important as your physical health and has designed 30-day challenges where those intersect. Each challenge contains daily tasks, mindful mobility, workouts, and journal prompts. These challenges will help you push your limits and uncover new habits to live a healthier day-to-day life. Daily Workouts Alive includes over 100 daily workouts that are split up into different categories (HiiT, Abs, Pull, etc) so you can decide what type of workout you want to do. Journey The path to a fit, healthy life is a journey, not an overnight process. The journey allows you to keep track of your progress by weight, photos, and a timeline of progress. Alive also has the capability of syncing your active minutes and weight data with Apple Health. Consistency is key so as you continually hit your goals the app will reward you with achievements along the way! Subscriptions / Alive Premium Alive is free to download and offers two Premium subscription options, Monthly and Annual. Both options include a 7-day trial. Alive Premium provides full access to the app including all programs and daily workouts. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You may manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. After purchase, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.     I love the app because of its easy to follow work outs as well as including a warm-up and cool-down. I wish the app would include some pre/post workout snacks, smoothie recipes etc. it’s easy to find workouts but not easy go-to recipes when trying to maintain a healthy balance with food and fitness.

    Love the versatility of the workouts and timing to keep you from sitting too long between workouts. Only suggestion would to maybe move the “End Workout” button from the bottom? Every time I need to get out of the app in the middle of the workout it thinks I want to quit it.

    I really love this app and I know Whitney is committed to keep updating it so I wanted to give a couple of suggestions! I restarted the begin again challenge, but decided not to redo the workouts I already completed. So I wish there was a way that you could skip ahead to a certain day and change your completion date. Second, I wish there was a place to add notes to specific exercises. For example, I’d like to notate what setting or how many degrees I set the seat on a machine, so I remember for next time. I also wish there was a way to set the date for progress photos. Right now, it just assigns the date that you uploaded it, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that was the date I actually took the photo. Overall, really like this app, would love it even more with these additions! 💕

    Truly absolutely love this app. I'm able to have great consistency and find myself really excited to work out each day because of this app and its programs. My only compliant is that it will randomly log me out in the middle of workouts and the workouts won't get logged. Then once I try to log in, it says I don't have an email with the app. I pay for an annual subscription and so having to go through this process every 5 weeks is really frustrating. Eventually it lets me back into the program but it's a struggle.

    I love Whitney and her positivity and physical and mental resiliency, and supporting her is the main reason I checked out the app. I LOVE how easy it is to navigate, change and reorder exercises and workouts and days off, and I love the color palette. I also LOVE that each exercise has a super easy one-click button that shows a quick demo without me having to navigate away from my workout to another page or watch a long video. This app is so thoughtfully created!! The only thing I’d love to see changed is to allow me to visit the app AFTERWARD and simply select the exercises I did, and enter the weight and the number of sets and reps I performed, and maybe even rest times. This app only works if you actually take your phone and watch it the whole time. A) I don’t even take my phone into the gym with me, and B) I don’t want to watch a screen the whole time. That’s the reason I quit my last workout app subscription. :( Bodybuilding.com lets you log a workout after the fact and it’s easy as pie. But, it lacks the thoughtful layout, feminine energy, variety of exercises, and one-click demos of this app.

    I got this app a little over 2 years ago and used it to gain knowledge about the foundations of lifting. I still love it. I love not having to plan my workouts and I love that the program has the whole week planned out for me and if I don’t get to it, I can easily skip a day and still get right back on track. I also love how Whitney posts videos that show you the correct form. Everything about it is genius and would recommend to anyone, especially those starting out their journey and those wanting to expand their workouts and gain knowledge! Pop of Whitney !
  • Glitches cause unreliable statistics.

    The more I use it, the “beginner” program needs a breakdown on form of the different exercises. The app glitches on iphone and then doesn’t record the workout. Even when Apple Watch records the data from alive and posts to fitness. No options to manually enter the data so now the applications data is skewed.

    What stated as a way to kick start working off holiday treats has quickly helped a mindset shift! I love taking care of myself even when times are hard and I couldn’t ask for better girls to have by my side (or in my pocket😉)

    Absolutely in love with this app!! It helped me find my love for the gym again and the workouts are the perfect length! 12/10 would totally recommend!
