    The new iOverlander 2 is far superior to the old defuct version that served us well for many years. It was a change that more or less had to happen since the old version would download the worldwide DB as far as I am aware.

    IOverlander’s original app was the greatest database of camping and utility’s for roadtripping or living on the road, this new app is completely garbage and offers little to no help at all. Save your time and find another app to use.

    This was a great app that was built on user generated data. Now the developers have twisted this into an awkward app with an excessive subscription rate. I don’t mind paying for an app if it’s reasonable and I’m happy to continue to support the database to improve it. But the way it stands now the developer has just simply gotten greedy. Very disappointing, but there is still time to correct this with some major changes which I hope they do soon.

    IOverlander 1 and 2, different levels of expensive subscriptions and map access. Frustrating and very difficult to is for planning.

    Not sure why they messed with a good thing. The previous eye Olander app was user-friendly and very intuitive and this is clunky and just awful.

    Now that I am forced to pay for this app, I find that it is harder to use. Since I have used it for a few months I can honestly say I hate it. The original FREE version was awesome. Zoom in on a highway name near a target now and it disappears. Search a city and you may get a view from 20 miles up or a decent view where you can read the city name UNTIL you zoom in or out. I’d pay $100 for the old app back. This app just makes me angry! I have tried everything to like this app. Tried every setting. Every view. I keep trying this app because I loved it in the past. There are now better options. It’s just sad. Big gripe. I have to make a route in maps then try to follow that route by matching line because, you know, THE ROAD NAMES DISAPPEAR! Town names disappear. You search a city and you may be put on the city but you never know because the city name does not show up 90% of the time. Look at your 1 star views. They are piling up! It’s not me. I am 100% certain I will not renew!

    1 star is very generous for this version of ioverlander. The original app had a much better UI and actually showed where camping spots exist. At this point this is an ad infested app that once had potential but grew too greedy and now everything is behind a paywall. Don’t bother wasting your time and storage downloading this app. ioverlander could’ve been the absolute BEST app for nomads but unfortunately, money hungry developers deleted any useful information and put another useless app to require to update to and is behind a paywall that gives the consumer absolutely nothing. Congrats!
