Rates at 0.4% rates are not good. 1120 shards to max a unit plus 1600 mindspheres to max stats is not good. Now holovision cards with awful rates and no stars to help max. Firing all the English voice actors and adding a new FFVII event with characters already used previously is desperate. Bringing the global version up to to the jp version. The game is not in a healthy place.

Great game. I played this for a solid coue months when it first came out cause I liked the story, but at the time, the story did not finish and it ran out of content for me to keep playing. Didn’t spend a dime first time around and it was a GRIND, Only to have mediocre leveled characters. Impossible to do the top tier hard quests the game releases in events to get the rewards. Second time, I’ve got some money now. I’m tryna catch up. FOMO on character releases. I invest my time with this money. I’ve spent a crazy accumlated $1k the past 1-2 months… and jeez this is such a scam. With all the updates they have made, it’s just a complete trap and your characters are still under powered. It takes the fun out of the “strategy” game since you can’t even amount up to a solid team (depending on the quests, ESPECIALLY elemental team quests). There’s always a new character and now they just do the same character variations to waste your time and money on. It’s becoming oversaturated where you can’t even casually play to get your shards up effectively The really hard quests are just quite ridiculous. Why even waste your life. They don’t even implement chats if its an online quest to communicate your actions. FYL if you spend 15-20 mins battling and some random online decides to quit. Im just a normal dude killing time. Love the game, but its a money pit scam.. unless you have two years of your life to play it slowly to collect character shards to be DECENT (and still be underpowered if they up the lvl cap again), don’t spend a dime on this game like my dumazz. SE is just so deng greedy with their entire franchise. Even if you spent money, draw rates are complete aas. Play for fun, don’t ever, ever spend money on this.

Will update from 1 star if they decide to bring the English VO back. Recently announced that all new content will be in Japanese only moving forward. Extremely disappointing.

The graphics are great and the gameplay is better than ff tactics. The real problem with this game is that it overwhelms the user. Each month you have to pick between 20+ different promotions, and unless you’re willing to pay $300/week, you stand absolutely zero chance of accomplishing any more than 2 out of the 20 + promotions. Beyond that, the game developers have designed the game to trick you into spending your hard earned visiore by strategically placing visiore purchase options in between Gil purchase options in areas like the “whimsy shop”. Furthermore, the game crashes on me every hour on the hour, and when it’s not crashing, it’s lagging badly. I enjoyed the game for a few months, but eventually I realized that the game was designed to rob me of my life and my money. Fortunately, I only lost time as I was wise enough not to waste any real money on this scam of a game. Play at your own risk.
  • Graphics are worse than ps 1

The character models in combat look so disproportionate and cheaply done. Some characters literally have giant shoulders and wire legs. I’d rather play war of the lions. This game looks like garbage.

It’s a good game but they removed the Spanish lenguage for no reason.

This game has one of the best stories out there with wonderful strategic combat. I would recommend this game to any final fantasy fan or even RPG fans.
  • Alchemist Code is back!

Oh, hey Alchemist Code, good to see you back. Diggin the new FF skin, hopefully because you’re backed by square enix you’l stick around this time. Heads up for anyone just picking this up; the amount of level up grindy stuff is overwhelming, but you can clear most end game content with good chars that are high level. If you’re wondering why there’s so much of it packed in there, it’s because this is a clone of another game who slowly worked each individual mechanic in to keep their players on the grind train. PICK YOUR STARTER CHARACTERS CAREFULLY. I think that makes a big difference in starting out, especially if you pick well. WOTV-stats.com tells you who is using who for what.
