Spark Driver

I must say, I am very disappointed with Spark Driver. My account was deactivated because the app was unable to very my identity. The only think that changed was my hairstyle because I put in braids and since then the identity verification continued to fail each time and the company deactivated my account. I submitted 2 appeals and received one response that the decision was upheld. Spark never gave me any proof as to how my identity verification failed when I am the same person but my hairstyle changed. So ladies, be careful when changing your hairstyles.

The app has always worked extremely well for me. But I do think there are some tweaks that would be so helpful!… #1 When shopping in store for an order, I wish I could view the item aisle numbers without having to click on each individual item to find that information. So on the shopping list page it would be helpful if the aisle numbers were next to each item. Sometimes I prefer to shop for items in a different order than the app suggests. Just because I know it’s more efficient for me that way. #2 I wish we had more ability to substitute an item if one isn’t available. For example, a customer needed a bottle scrubber from the dish sponge aisle. However, it was out of stock. The customer wanted to substitute it for another bottle scrubber. But because the substitute was in the baby aisle, it wouldn’t let me substitute. And it was practically the same price. #3 Making it crystal clear to customers and Sparkers that Sparkers are not allowed to come into their homes! I can’t tell you how many people are in rage over me politely letting them know that we can’t bring their groceries into their house for them. Because some sparkers do and now customers think that I should too. And I won’t. It’s liability for them, you, me. And it’s overall dangerous for me who needs to make it safely back home to my kids and family. #4 Not letting me pause my time and starting again when I’m ready to. I don’t want to have to go back through the process of picking a time and turning on spark. I want to pause it in between trips. I can’t safely look over a potential offer to accept or decline because I’m driving back to the Walmart after completing my previous order. #5 The ability to click a quick button in the app that will guide me from the last customers house, back to the Walmart I prefer. #6 The ability to choose/filter which Walmarts I will and will not accept in my zone to shop at. I’m tired of getting offers for Walmarts that I will not be sparking at. #7 The ability to decline an offer and it STOP popping back up every two seconds. If I decline it 5 times, you can best believe I’m not accepting that order at that point. #8 A filter to filter a minimum amount of pay I will accept. As well as a max amount of miles I’m willing to drive. #9 Customers either need to be required to tip or something that requires us to be making a reasonable amount. Because I’m not driving 20 miles, for $20, and 3 stops. Period. You should have a basic rule of thumb that every offer is a 2:1 ratio. Meaning $40 for 20 miles. MINIMUM. I think that’s all. I have been sparking for 3 years. I rely on this opportunity for income. It is very scary and disappointing that spark will be deactivating many drivers due to their glitch on the ddi portal not allowing us to update our earnings! It didn’t accept my bank account, fine! Where is the option for one? Both have disappeared and I cannot switch my earnings account. Spark has the worst driver support and never has a resolution. Just generic responses. Spark really needs to take some notes from DoorDash! Their payouts are pretty flawless! And their support team is great. It’s really unfortunate they are willing to reactive tons of drivers opposed to fixing whatever glitch is preventing us from updating to the One account. I personally applied for One over a year ago and was denied, I recently always approved just fine directly from the One app but Spark shows me as denied and no longer gives me the option to update to One. Fix the flipping problem! It really cannot be as hard as they are making it!

This app does not allow you to reset your password. I have tried several times when I completed the update. It kicked me out and would not allow me to sign in. Then when I called support, they told me they could not reset my password that I have to wait for technical support to get in contact with me then they could not even tell me whether it was going to be a phone call a text message. and r an email sent to me. I was not able to reset my own password. This is super frustrating I use this app to make money on the side. This is not acceptable

Now having issues with seeing the orders, as they usually do show on screen. Please fix
