Royal Match

I’ve played this game for about 4 years now, so this isn’t a snap review. There are good elements to this game. The graphics are nice, the developers make an effort to improve the experience, and the support is above average. But, this is a match 3 game, the goal of which is to beat levels. Sadly, the developers have lost sight of what makes a great gaming experience. They want you to spend (waste) money on this to win. The AI is not helpful on boosters, sending propellers where they do the least amount of good, placing boosters where they aren’t needed, all to get you to spend money to get extra turns to get past easy puzzles, and making it nearly impossible to complete hard or super hard puzzles. It’s easy early to get you into it then gets to a point where you’re spending cash all the time just to go on. They’ll tell you every puzzle is solvable without boosters, but it’s solvable like a slot machine is theoretically possible to beat every time. I want a challenge, but a fair one. And this game isn’t remotely fair. I’ve rage quit and tried to get them to listen but nothing changes. My advice, the frustration isn’t worth it. The further I get (I’ve won over 10,000 levels), the more I expect a fair shake, because I know how to play the game. I’m not seeing it.

Great game but seems to have gotten very stingy of late. I’m on level 10301.

Love love the game but once you get past level 1000 you pretty much have to spend money if you don’t want to play a level 20 times to advance.

Nice game, I am on a team that has been functioning well. Enjoyable to play, the only reason for 3 instead of 5 is that there are long waits between updates with new levels, so once you max out you are placed into the royal league which is a mix of hard and super hard levels. Not always fun to play hard levels always. Would be great if the mixed in normal levels as well. Or release a larger update with multiple new levels.

While the game appears to be challenging, it does have a program to make you use up all your coins so that you can buy more! This is my biggest concern with this game - they have been charging a lot more than what you purchase!! Last charge was $28.99 when I only bought a $9.99. I will no longer purchase coins on this game and likely leave altogether because of this abuse.

I loveeee this game it’s literally my favorite!

First off the game isn’t portrayed like it is in the ad. The main part they show is the kings nightmare. Secondly the game gets increasingly harder & when you use all your power-ups you might as well delete the game because there is no way of winning unless you purchase more. In summary it begins off being fun but after a few hundred levels that fun wears off because you will spend an eternity trying to get passed that level not to mention the aggression you will take out on your phone

This game is NOTHING like the ads

At first it’s a very fun game but after a while it becomes very much a pay to play experience, the pacing slows down, you run out of bonuses, and the game loses its fun without that momentum that you had when you started playing.

This stupid game killed my cat and then spread a disease to my boyfriend making him dump me and then the game made me cry. DO NOT GET THIS GAME or else the potatoes will eat your phone
