  • Fun, but could be better

    I have been playing for over 7 years and I really like to play. I even compete with my daughter. I have to agree with other players, that the life bars take way to long to load. Why not reward the players extra energy if they win with a score of zero? I believe that this would be a great incentive for players. Also, why do my energy bars reset back to 50 every time I open the app? Example: I win up to 130 energy bars, I close my game for the night and open the next day, and I have only 50, where did my other 80 go? One more question, what does it take to get more skips, frames, pets, etc.? Thank you!

    You actually had a chance the first 10 levels, after that you pretty much get sub-par hands with no wilds or skips and get practically duplicates that you don’t need while the npc’s get all of them and complete the objective in the first two hands. I’ve been stuck on level 14, phase 1 for 20+ tries now all because I keep getting hands with 2-4 duplicates of each number given while the npc’s get hands that are practically finished already minus 2-3 cards. It’s ridiculous

    While the game can be really fun, it is so insanely hard at times for no reason. You don’t have enough energy to make progress, the bots are weirdly hard to beat, the side missions cannot be completed because you don’t have enough energy and can barely win games. I like the concept but the actual gameplay is so frustrating when you make 0 progress multiple times over. I miss just being able to play free play without having to literally pay for it as well as having to pay to be able to play with friends??? Super disappointing:/

    I normally don’t write reviews but this game has frustrated me to no end. I’ve deleted and reinstalled this many times at this point and I’m beginning to question why. It starts off great. Lots of fun. Then, all of a sudden, the computer doesn’t just beat you, it crushes you. You start a brand new level against the computer, whether it’s against one or many, and “their” first draw they complete the task. It may take one or two draws for them to “win” but I’m over here drawing cards and not getting anything I need to complete my task. Game finishes, onto the next part of the level, same thing. Now the computer has completed 2 tasks and here I am, still trying to draw cards to get what I need. Game, finishes, and, you guessed it, computer almost immediately completes its task. I refuse to spend money to play this game. I’ve used the blue crystals or whatever they are to buy energy but I will not spend my $$ on this only to keep losing to a computer. I’ve read other reviews about the game “cheating” and the developers response about how sorry they are but it’s not cheating. There’s no reason why this stupid game should frustrate me the way it does. Games/Apps should be a way to have fun and/or relax. I’m literally home everyday ALL day taking care of my disabled child and when I get “down time” I enjoy playing games. So, once again, for the next few months, I’ll act like this game doesn’t exist, only to reload it and play for 48 hours before deleting again.

    IS UNNECESSARY. And should be optional. Long intros to a game makes me delete the game. I would rather figure it out on my own . It’s annoying

    Phase 10 is an awesome game. How about a game that you can just play normally. I have a great phase 10 on my laptop that doesn’t actually cheat. As everyone else says, the game is addicting, but it’s designed to get you to drop money on volts to keep playing with no ability to move forward. If you don’t spend the money, you spend minutes watching videos to get one wild card. I have never gotten a wild card that way, when the opponent didn’t finish their hand on the first try, before playing a single card. Developer can say it’s not cheating but it’s definitely rigged. Developer, apologize all you want but you will not see a dime of my money. Deleting the app and sticking with my laptop.

    I purchased the no-ad option. I have since realized that was a mistake because the game is rigged on certain levels. There is no way of making the requirements to obtain 3 stars on each level because, again, certain levels are rigged. Update: my update is in response to developers reply There are levels that are absolutely rigid. I have proof of it too.

    Developers: If the game needs a run of 3 or a set of 4, the game SHOULD accept a set of 4 or run of 5. Making it “match” the phase exactly is mentally frustrating. i have played this gane for years and it goes without saying that you can lay more than what is required on a phase.

    I’m a really good Phase Ten card player and have been for decades. This game is impossible to enjoy due to its more-than-challenging bot players. There is no way in the face-to-face game that opponents get so lucky, so often. And if you want to try to get ahead, it will cost you! This developer doesn’t even try to make this game a fun experience for its players.
