Really to use and cater to your needs. Has a cost but well worth it in my opinion.

I’m a professional financial advisor, and this is my favorite personal tool! Very user-friendly app for managing all of my finances. Everything I could ask for! Plus, the team takes in user feedback and is continually adding features to make Monarch even better!
  • Best option out there

I am not 100% satisfied BUT like many things, you can not be perfect and still be the best option out there. Now that it is live with the Apple Card, my wife and I can use the program easily to budget out the year and track our performance in real time. And super responsive to customers as well. Totally recommended

I thought this app would be better than Mint, and since Mint was merging with Credit Karma, I wanted to try this one. So far it’s been funky at best. Can’t get stuff to update, so I have no idea what my finances are in real time. Good luck trying to reach anyone in Support. Most of the issues are pre-filled with possible answers, so you can’t really explain your problem. I paid for the year, so I’ll just cut my losses and move on to something else.

Enjoying Monarch? “No compatible accounts” with Discover. Coinbase doesn’t work. Can’t add Loan Care Servicing Center. “Enjoying Monarch?”

It worked for my trial period. Once I bought a subscription, they stopped trying to make the app work. Now Half my connected accounts can't connect, making the app useless. The accounts have been unable to connect to their institutions for months.
  • Horrible Customer Service

The customer service is only available via email and their response time has been on average 5 days for them to get back to me. Definitely not worth the money.
  • Finally my solution

After churning through half a dozen budgeting apps, I finally found the one that works for me. Try it out, you won’t regret it.

I can’t access all of my accounts and their support team is staffed by amateurs who focus on closing tickets instead of helping. It’s disappointing because I was expecting a lot going from a free product to paid product, but am not having an experience that is worth paying for… or investing the time necessary to set up accounts.
  • Love everything other than that it doesn’t work ☹️

I really enjoyed this app initially- the interface, the fact that my husband and I both had access, the details about each account, etc. But after a few months, we realized there are significant glitches with syncing accounts. At first I didn’t think much of it, but then it was happening so frequently and over time, one of our accounts (a local credit union AND all Chase accounts) completely stopped syncing. Customer service was helpful in investigating and said it was an issue with the PFA for that bank. I decided to try out a different finance mgmt app and found that there were no issues with syncing in that account. Due to the frequency of the errors and the fact that our checking account shows absolutely no transactions anymore, we’re going to have to leave. I would come back if and when this gets fixed, but for now I cannot recommend it unfortunately.
