This app has potential - it is the most similar to Mint that you can find. Unfortunately, they don’t support the app - if you have a bug that breaks the app, they don’t provide any meaningful support and you will find yourself paying for an app you can’t use.

They changed the hidden transactions, they have moved to their own place, I hate that because I hide certain transactions from my budget and I like having them stay along with the account transactions, I hate it.

Developer spams reviews “All” only goes back 18 months. “Amazon sync and our enhanced referral program” “Are you sure?” “A new home for hidden transactions”

We like the Trial so much that we paid for the year and it is a great analysis of all your money with your banks, credit cards, loans, anything to do with your budget regarding income and expenses And it shows a perfect picture of everything financially. Highly recommended! Most banks don’t do this but if they did do this, I would not want them knowing this information. It’s not a Bank’s decision to do this! Get control of your finances through Monarch and you will see a bigger picture of everything once you have entered everything. Excellent product!

  • Worst App of Three

I tried three apps at the same time: Rocket Money, YNAB, and Monarch. Of all the three, Monarch was the least straight forward to use, and had the worse customer service (still awaiting an email response from a ticket started on Monday when Rocket Money has checked in with me every day and escalated the issue to a specialist). Additionally, Monarch didn’t help alert me as well as Rocket Money or YNAB did for new spending. Also, I’m still unclear why a calendar is the most important part of my dashboard as it’s right at the top? I thought this was supposed to be a money app, not a habit tracker app. Overall, I don’t think Monarch is worth the hype. Rocket Money will negotiate high bills for you and split the costs and help you see where you’re paying more than market average. Personally though, I will stick with YNAB because I love that it forces you to actually use your set budget and the color coding just makes it visually satisfying to use.

To the point and does exactly what I need; where my money is and where it is going. I’ve tried a good amount of apps and am very happy with utilitarian feature this offers.

This app has been great in organizing my reoccurring expenses and letting me know about things I didn’t realize I was still paying for every month! The estimation for totals on utility bills is pretty accurate too and has really helped me understand what I have to spend for the rest of the month. I’m a former Mint user who moved to this app awhile ago and it’s been able to meet my needs for budgeting and making sure things are paid on time. I wish it directly tied to my investment accounts so I wouldn’t have to update when I bought or sold but other then that the app is as good as advertised.
