I am confused how the "Free Walk" works. I tap start and it shows the route that I walked but it only records 9 or 10 steps when my walk was over the goal of 4400. How do I get it to work?
  • App is unreliable

I have used this app for about a week, and it’s hit or miss at best. It doesn’t sync well with my FitBit. I’m doing the walking programs that it provides but it doesn’t update my steps and tells me that I didn’t meet the goal for the day. Very disappointed.
  • Lots of glitches

I originally really liked this app. However, it has started sporadically glitching. It keeps changing what number of days my streak is, randomly giving me less or more steps than I actually did, and sometimes retroactively changing my step goal. I’m just really annoyed with it and mad that I paid for it with all these issues.

As somebody who has downloaded countless numbers of fitness apps in the past five years, I will tell you right now that this is my 100% opinion about this app. It’s best that I have ever purchased in my life. It has so many at home workouts and my favorite is the one where you just do exercises standing in place. I love the voice of the trainer because shes very calming and if you’re just a beginner for working out it also has a pause button that you can pause your workout so you can sit for a minute and catch your breath instead of the app just going on without you. I deleted all of my other Fitness apps and this is the app that I will continue to work with. it has a section in your profile for your bowl and where you wanna be in two months three months six months or even a year. My goal is to see where I’m at and a year from now and I’m gonna continue to use this app daily even more two or three times a day if necessary if I fill up for it. The best part is is that some of the workouts are only like 8 to 11 minutes long so if you just have to get that little bit of workout in for the day, then it’s right there for you. I absolutely love it that it has a variety of workouts on all different levels. I just did my second day of this app and I love it that I can go back and repeat the same day exercise. I’m so glad I found this app. Thank you fit walk!
  • Not worth it

Does little that iHealth does not—and in fact draws data from iHealth. Plan turns out to cost $66 for 3 months!
  • Total Scam

This app is a total scam and not worth it. They will auto renew for 3 months at a time at 2-3 times what you originally paid, even if you cancel before the transaction goes through. Their customer service is horrible. Avoid at all costs. I’ve had to file a dispute with my bank and the BBB over their charges. They also use offshore accounts to process transactions.

I signed up with the free trial. I cancelled before the trial was up yet they still are charging me for a subscription renewal. Apple wants me to pay so I can then wait 3-5 days for my money and getting in contact with this app’s support is just a run around.
  • Unable to work

The app itself was very good. I was using it and it worked fine. When my subscription ran out, I purchased a new one. After that, every time I started the app it was asking me to re-purchase a new subscription. I logged out and tried to log in and it wouldn’t let me. I tried to delete the app and reinstall and it still didn’t work. I installed it on my iPad and it worked fine, even let me “restore purchases”. However, when I went back to my iPhone, it kept sending me to the screen to either purchase a new subscription or restore purchases. I tried both options and neither one worked. After 87 emails back and forth with the company, the issue was not resolved.

I joined WalkFit specifically to try and lose some weight. So far I’m not doing very well in that category. The exercise is a bit difficult for me. I can’t seem to keep up and maybe it’s because I can’t do it every day. I do it approximately Every other day I like the program and I’m planning to try and continue. Hopefully, I’ll be able to lose the weight that I want. I have problems with pain in my hips and back, which prevents me from being able to keep up with the exercise. But I do plan to continue and do my best.

I like the concept of this app but it's annoying to use. The sync between my Health app on my phone and my Apple watch - especially during workouts - is buggy. The watch app sometimes closes during the workout so my data isn't correctly tracked. Sometimes, I have to lift my arm and wake the watch in order for the phone app to catch up. I wish I could set treadmill walks as my default. I wish I could override the phone sleep setting because I'm constantly having to unlock my phone during workouts to check my progress and make sure things are syncing correctly. I wish I had some flexibility over the step goal. It jumped 1200 overnight even though I'm not consistently meeting the prior goal. It's winter, I work from home, and this step goal probably isn't realistic for me right now but instead of rewarding consistency in the workouts I'm getting dinged for not reaching arbitrary step goals that are potentially based on outdated science. I had high hopes for this but it's not quite getting the job done. I'm going to try some others.
