My clients are frequently deleted, and lately the clients that are deleted are completely swapped out with other clients info when going to the portal to look at their info…

How they charge this much and still have a broken app is beyond me. maybe it’s because the buttons for support literally are broken. every time i click a pose the app crashes. unbelievable.

This is the best app I have ever seen! I truly love this app it makes me feel more professional and confident when working with clients. The gallery is what gets me now we don’t have say “ download this and that…” now you just send them the link and boom! I am very impressed. Most apps don’t offer all of this you download multiple but the creators for this thought if everything you’ll need!

All I want to do is try the app but it keeps crashing or whenever I try to add a pose to a collection, the form pops up on repeat without allowing me to cancel. I then have to quit the app.

I’ve had this app and the lifetime subscription for over 3 years and I have no complaints at all. I had an issue this week with my account not showing my lifetime subscription and the team was very helpful and quickly fixed the issue for me. This app boosted my confidence as a beginner photographer and made my business success when I became a pro.

I cancelled my free trial, yet the app still tried to charge me the full $217 yearly fee. Because my card couldn’t process it, my Apple account was blocked from downloading other apps. Apple Support told me to pay and request a refund—but after doing exactly that, they denied it and said no refund would be issued. The posing content itself is very basic and not worth the high cost. There are far better photography apps out there. I don’t recommend this one and definitely don’t start the free trial. I’m opening a case with the Federal Trade Commission today, I’m also curious if the developer has photographer consent on each image used. Based on the amount of people having the same experience I’ve had I think Apple might want to take a look at allowing this app to be in the catalog of apps.

I really enjoy the overall experience Unscripted offers for photographers — both the client-facing and back-end features are well thought out and convenient when they work properly. That said, during my first couple of months (on the annual plan), I had major issues with the app not recognizing my premium subscription. For weeks I couldn’t access the features I was paying for — I couldn’t upload galleries or send out contracts, which really hurt my client workflow. I had to temporarily pay for another software just to keep things moving, which was frustrating after already canceling my other subscriptions in anticipation of using Unscripted full-time. I reached out to support multiple times, and to their credit, they were extremely kind and helpful. They even got a developer involved to fix the issue, which I really appreciated — but at the end of the day, it was still a significant inconvenience that affected both me and my clients. As for the CRM setup itself, I do wish there was more flexibility. The ability to customize invoices, add extra fees (like credit card processing through Stripe), and automate scheduled emails with existing templates would make a huge difference. Those small features are what make a photographer’s workflow truly seamless. Overall, Unscripted is a strong platform with great potential, but I don’t see myself resubscribing for now. I’ll be switching back to my previous workflow software in December until Unscripted refines a few of these areas.
