    I purchased my Skylight Plus subscription through Apple Pay/in-app purchases and was unable to activate it in the app or on my Skylight device. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that I needed to cancel my Apple Pay subscription, request a refund through Apple, and then re-subscribe directly through Skylight’s website. It appears this is a known issue affecting multiple users who purchase or renew their subscription through Apple Pay. If the official solution is for consumers to go through Apple for refunds and re-subscribe manually, it feels like an ongoing system problem on Skylight’s end—one that should be addressed between Skylight and Apple, not left to customers to fix. Given the cost of both the device and the annual subscription, it’s frustrating that this issue persists without a seamless resolution for users.

    Hi, with the new update the app no longer lets you log in to an existing account, only set up a new account. Please fix so we can continue using our our account, thanks!
  • Creating and adding devices fails

    Tried to creat a unique email, says “invalid token”. Can’t even add a pre-existing account. Wife shares a link and all that does is open the App Store, doesn’t auto launch or link an account. Attempt to add a pre-existing by email, and same issue present.

    We have had our Skylight for almost a year, and it has been so incredibly helpful in keeping our family on the same page/calendar from anywhere while enjoying the large, always-up-to-date wall calendar at home. One feature I really wish it had is an ability to copy an event already on the calendar to another day or to be able to add an event to various, irregular days when creating an event. I work 12-hr shifts that vary significantly every week, so I am not able to use the “repeat” function; the ability to add events to various days or copy them forward would be amazing!

    It would be nice to have an option to be notified when a new event has been added. Trying to juggle everyone’s schedules is difficult and this app definitely helps…but it would be helpful to also know in real time when someone has added something to the calendar.

    My app seems to take forever to load up some times, at times it only partially loads and I have to swipe out and try again. I have a new iPhone showing full bars and no other app giving me problems. So often I add appointments in a different calendar than adjust it later so the family can see on our wall calendar the person it’s meant for. Also really wish it could link up to the Iwatch. So I could add appointments when I don’t have my phone.

    I love this calendar!! It has really motivated my family to get tasks completed. My only suggestion would be that you could get reminders pushed to your phone for tasks or events. For example, if you have a bill due, a reminder that pops up as a notification on your phone outside of the app the day before or that morning would make the calendar almost perfect!
  • Blurry pictures bug

    I try to edit the crop and it turns my photos way blurry like there’s a bug. Why can’t I set a default setting to upload with original crop? I try editing each photo one at a time (beyond time consuming!!!!) to stop cropping the photo and just use the original and then it blurs the photo once I do this. Guess my family will just have to look at foreheads cut off in photos and pics that don’t make sense. Also, trying to delete the blurry photos on the frame I have to click delete and delete photo on everyyyy pic. There’s no user testing. The user experience is so bad it makes it feel like this is just a money grab

    I got the calendar and most everything was fine the first month. I will say I never got my linked calendars to display but, I wasn’t upset about that. A month later my trial expired and the pics and reward points were gone. I went back in to re-subscribe and was charged for it. Nothing came back on the calendar. I tried to update everything but the app was saying I wasn’t a plus member. I unsubscribed, tried to re-subscribe through the app and got an error. I have been on hold for the 3rd time, totaling an hour now and haven’t gotten to speak with anyone at all. So now I have a stupid calendar that does nothing that I got it for. Complete waste of money.
