  • No recurring schedules

    There are no options for recurring schedules. Won’t let me input paydays to repeat every other week. I work two week on and 1 week off so I can’t input my work schedule. I would recommend doing some updating for people to be able to input any type of options they need to automatically repeat for any given schedules.

  • One frustrating feature

    So far I love the skylight calendar and app. Syncing it with our Apple calendar was easy. What drives me absolutely crazy and makes almost the whole process not worth it is when I try to add a date and time for an event, the start time (and sometime day) changes when I am selecting the end time and day- so I have to start all over. What a hassle and waste of time.

    The app does not work properly. Sometimes it does not even show the kids or shows kids tasks under the wrong name.

  • Too Expensive to Only be Good in Concept

    This app glitches out on me regularly. It’s really good in concept but it’s not good value if it doesn’t work as advertised. This app falls short of the fanfare. I really want it to work and I really want to like Skylight as a brand. Their customer service has been stellar at communication yet lacking in solutions. I wanted this to be a good review but when I can’t get the support I expect my thumbs catch on fire in the review section.

    Update: changed to five stars after these updates. I LOVE IT I think it’s mostly good but could use some features to make it great. For example I would like to be able to view all my recipes in one place and see the description of them before adding it as a meal. Also some meals can be for dinner or lunch, so it’s frustrating it has to be assigned only one. They did improve the list feature but it’s still a bit confusing to navigate in terms of what is or is not on my list because of how it is formatted. You can’t take completed things off unless you delete or show only incomplete. Also I’m being picky but when you are on your calendar and click a day, it takes you to that week. And when you change the layout from week to month, it’s confusing because it labels the one you’re already viewing. These are the main features I use as a 25 year old with no kids, but overall love the idea and ease of calendar sharing and adding events!

  • Old completed tasks

    Old, completed tasks do not permanently delete. They show marked as complete for days and weeks at a time. This makes the to do area very cluttered.

    The app works well and syncs to the calendar. My only issues is every time I open the tasks on the app, all tasks disappear. It is fixed by closing and restarting the app but sometimes it takes multiple times.

    App is very difficult when it comes to creating daily chores and shared tasks. There isn’t a great way to differentiate between must do chores and extra chores . Could be so much better

  • Could not access frame.

    When someone shared the link with me, it would just take me to the AppStore to open the app, but when I did, it didn’t add the frame to my library. There is no email associated with the frame, so I’m not sure how to add it to my library.

  • Cannot add another phone

    Tried multiple time to add phone, when you use the link takes you to the app, but doesn’t do anything. Would love to hear from a person to get a basic input of how I cannot get myself to be added to our calendar. Update. I had to delete account and app, reinstall and then get approval from my spouse to get the calendar. Not a good start for a new app for me. Hopefully it functions better now that I have access. Not happy that this required extra steps on my part. Should be seamless to add
