    I have used Face ID with eufy for a long time. Now when I try to log in Face ID takes me to a screen where I need to enter a code to access my account. I try by text but no code. I try by email but no code.

  • Update not fully baked

    The old app was annoying with all the constant spamming of ads, but at least it was functional. I went to start cleaning our floors and was notified that I should download the new app. I wish I hadn’t! The new app froze when I attempted to enter my login confirmation code, crashed when I restarted it, froze when it attempted to load my information, then froze again at the same spot after I force-restarted it. It’s 15 min later, and my vacuum still isn’t running. Thank god it has a physical button to start the cycle. Update: 30 min later, I can finally get into the app again.

  • Unusable due to no verification codes

    Trying to log into an existing account to set up some additional security in our new home. Go to log in…it wants a verification code! Which it fails to send, repeatedly, via text or email, including after restarting devices and reinstalling apps. I can only log into the website, which is not linked to home devices. Good thing I can set up my brand-new equipment without logging into the app, right? Oh, wait…

  • Cameras keep going offline…

    Since around March, it appears a firmware updated caused issues with my 2c pro cameras maintaining their connections to the home base. It was working flawlessly for 2 years before this. People on Reddit are describing the same issues and it appears Eufy is offering no solution or fix as of yet…

  • App keeps crashing

    I don't know what updates you recently made, but the app doesn't work anymore. I'm constantly having to restart the camera and every time I open the app, it just keeps loading and then says it's unable to do anything. Please fix the app and go back to the way that it was. It seems like a lot of people are having the same issue.

  • Good Cameras Laggy app

    I just purchased these cameras recently ( door bell camera and the spotlight 360 camera with a solar panel) and I’ve been testing them the past few weeks. Just about every time I click the app camera notification it says something about error loading, so I reload the entire app just to view what’s going on but everything is so glitchy. I don’t hate the purchase and I don’t regret it but dealing with the app is annoying and getting tiring because I just want to be able to view my camera when I want. Not when the app decides to work

  • Missing essential features, support team unhelpful

    The app is alright for viewing video feeds from cameras, but there are some strange behaviors, like it will show a still from the last time you looked at the video instead of the last time recording was triggered (why?), and there apparently isn’t feature parity with the “eufy security” app that used to (?) be in the App Store. Apparently impossible for some cameras to disable motion notifications while keeping motion recording. When I contacted support about it they told me to use “security modes” which don’t even exist in this version of the app. When I replied explaining this they followed up with an unhelpful boilerplate response, apparently trying to waste my time until I give up. Anyway, whoever had the vision for the unified app has not seen the transition through very well.

    Downloaded the app. It went on for 45 minutes searching for devices then crashed. Restarted the app and it just keeps spinning. Finally got tired and deleted the app.

  • Just gets worse every update

    Slow, finicky, now the videos black out while you’re watching….after you’ve waited 5 minutes for them to load. Yes, iPhone is new, up to date and I have AT&T. No speed issues with my service. ***Of course the stuff they want you to buy loads flawlessly. They don’t care about you, just getting you to buy as much worthless stuff as possible.
