Any creek that might be a creek is listed. You want to drive to a seasonal dry creek? This is your app. Want to have a viable small trout gem next to irrigation ditches, this is your app. Want to query a class 1 on your area…nope you see all the noise. It’s a Topo with notes and sketchy evaluations. I know my area…this app plain doesn’t. Grab the free version for a Topo, but don’t count on it to put you on great fishing. You may end up trying to euro nymph dirt. Deleted the app: my observations were regarding Washington state. Way too many rivers that were a “2” but normally dry and only flow as rain drainage was immense. 1/10 rivers felt correctly rated. The GIS info is publicly available so the rating system needs to be accurate to establish value. It is severely broken and thus the app is useless.

Overall the app is good. Only thing I would like to see is a distinction between resident streams and lake run. In New York several streams are listed that only hold fish in the spring steelhead run. One in particular is bone dry 6 months a year but is frequently loaded with steelhead in February and march.

Hate this. Every time I open the app when using I have to search state again! It used to stay in the state you're in till you search elsewhere! I'm not purchasing again! Update it has been corrected and I love it again!

Finally bit the bullet and paid to see access spots. And the two areas it gave me on the creek had no fishing access. (Without getting my car towed) immediately lost trust in this app. Update: the creek mentioned. Big sewickley creek in PA. Main, north fork, and east branch

I am new to to Trout fishing and picked this app up at a FF Expo in January of 22’. It has been a God send in providing really useful information for locating streams and how to easily get on the water. I love knowing where private/public property lines are and the ability to add notes to locations I’ve fished. I also realized there are mapped public trails for Michigan State Parks which I like to hike so it serves a dual purpose for me now. Keep up the good work.

After more than two years of use I can recommend this software for the states currently loaded. I use it often at the PRO subscription version. I have used it successfully for WI, MN, IA and find it invaluable. Questions or issues with the software were promptly answered or corrected.

I returned to my passion of fly fishing earlier this year after over a decade away because of personal challenges. TroutRoutes was and is an amazing resource to help me find great places to fish and park!

Simple, intuitive, smart and getting smarter. Trout Routes is worth every penny. One of the best tools in my fly box.

Absolutely love this app. I fish in Wisconsin’s driftless area where there’s limited cell service at times. That means no maps, etc to help orient to where you are. TroutRoutes must be satellite, tho I’m no tech kind of guy. No matter where I’m at, I can see in real time as I move upstream. Then add in that they show parking, easements, even limits….as that changes from stream to stream. I could go on and on. Suffice to say, TroutRoutes rocks! Thanks guys
