  • Expensive, feature locked, and fake accounts

    If you hold out on a subscription, periodically, they will have bot accounts match with you, and then when you finally decide to get a subscription, these accounts become “unavailable“. The majority of the time this app is dead, there is no way it is worth the 30+ dollars.

    They keep showing you the same men over and over, the pickings are slim only time you get a message is from someone on the other side of the state,no preference on what race you only want to date ,and when you state in your profile they will harass you . It’s free hs groups on fb for anyone wanting to know

    I’m thankful someone out there took the time to come up with the idea! However, there are some issues that make this app difficult for a successful relationship to occur regularly. Most of which are issues the PS team couldn’t possibly have control over. With that being said, here is my rant after several premium purchases over the last 5 years(+/-). Not enough people have joined. This is from several factors, but mostly because people don’t know of PS or have taking the time to acknowledge their std and become proactive. This translates into an even smaller dating pool than we had herpes free. They have a feature for people to remain anonymous, which much like the internet, can be a communication barrier. I realize some introverted people have issues with the spotlight, but why go somewhere to meet people and be anonymous? It’s also a chance for their company to AI anonymously and string people along with their bottle game.(This is an interesting idea if most people could be more interesting with their conversation starters) I have to say this company has rid the bots/automated or fraudulent profiles gradually over my time, but it will remain an issue for eternity I’d imagine. Inactive profiles are left on site, if they aren’t deactivated by their owners. So, good luck differentiating all those Inactive profiles. I’ve met quite a few people on here over the last 5 years. Of those, being in smaller cities, there’s a lot of travel involved. Most people will not want to relocate. And those in the larger cities have more options. So, give it a shot if you are in a metro area, but good luck if you are not.

    This is quite possibly the worst dating app. Extremely low engagement from “users,” I think a lot of the profiles are fake, no one responds to messages even if it’s a mutual Connection, horrible “talent pool,” half or fewer accounts have pictures of someone’s face/ appearance, and the user exp is sooo bad. Not to mention the second you get off premium magically you start getting a lot of views and likes <- suspect. This app is a SCAM more or less. I DO NOT recommend it.

  • Allows harassment towards users

    This app allows other users to harass and insult people unprovoked with no consequences. The harassment was reported- clear and vicious insults coming for no reason other than assumptions based off photos. The user was reported and this App sent an email saying it was a misunderstanding on the harassers end and no one else has reported this persons profile so no actions will be taken. They don’t care about safety in their community. Especially women’s safety. This same exact situation would get a user banned immediately on another app. Absolutely unacceptable of PS the company/app. I do not recommend this app for any reason. Harassment was so clear and direct with no resolution that here I am writing my first ever review for an app if that tells you anything about this company and what they value.

    This app is overpriced. They routinely don’t notify you when you get likes even if your notifications are on. People are flakes and it ends up being a waste of time and money.

  • For Women the messaging system is a Vultures Roost

    The messaging system desperately needs a rework. It should be easier for women to block users who send harassing or inappropriate messages. Safety and user control should be prioritized, and right now, the system falls short in protecting people from this kind of behavior.
