    Often these kinds of apps over-do the gamification aspect, which defeats the whole purpose of. WaterDo is the right balance of simple, fun, and well organized. It has a little bit of gamification, but not enough to be distracting; just motivating. It’s really helped me feel better and be more organized. Thanks to the team !

  • Water level doesn't change anymore - WHY???

    Update: I hate the changes you've made, and now I don't use this app anymore. The whole point was for things to be more tangibly and visibly satisfying, but now the water doesn't rise and I can't choose the size of my bubbles. And the tasks I enter don't even all show up! How can I visualize what I have to do when I can't see it? Who lost the vision here? You guys screwed up. I would never recommend this now. I got this app to help activate my acenses when I have important things to do, which if IMPORTANT for people with ADHD. Now your app changed all the good things and it is BAD. // The water level doesn't change anymore?!!! Why would you take that away?? That's the reason it feels like you're making progress. PLEASE FIX THIS!! And no response to movement! You might as well be any other app now. SO SAD!!! Update: I forgot why I stopped using this. Now I remember. BOO

    This is has been so helpful in the past few years that I’ve been using it. I just hate to see that not much has really improved or been done about glitches that were happening in the app with letters and looking skewed. I also wish they would expand more and build more islands as I’ve gotten through almost all of them by now. It would be nice to see how this app continues to develop.

    Love the app but it’s been glitching for the last week or so. Text is weird and broken up. Makes it hard to read anything. Update: most of the glitches have been addressed. Text sometimes presents weird in the resident diaries still.

  • It was good, now it has some problems

    I’ve used WaterDo for nearly 3 years now, and while at first it was great, things have gone downhill. Accessing your tasks on separate devices usually doesn’t happen with the first sync, and sometimes deleted tasks will load instead. The text in the app has random letters, numbers, and capitals mixed in. It’s also varying in fonts, text size, letter spacing, and boldness within each word. The keys for the chests are too easy to get, and too hard to get rid of. Because of the 10 hour buffer between opening chests, I have 73 keys that I’m essentially stuck with. The app doesn’t always register touch well, and has difficulty loading/syncing data even on the original device. Because of all these issues, I regret purchasing the premium version of this app. I feel like it’s being neglected, and am currently using other methods to organize my tasks. I don’t have a lot of confidence that this will be fixed, because it’s been getting worse over time rather than getting better. Hopefully this will change, because it has so much potential. Once the app functionality is fixed, I have some suggestions for additions as well: Due dates- Including the due date of a task separate from when the task should be performed More colors- Adding more colors would greatly help organization. Some color suggestions include pinks, lemon yellow, and teal. It would be even better to create and save my own custom colors. Options to list items- the bubble setting is nice, but it is also sometimes helpful to have a list. Multiple lists- Having one section for every task is daunting and stretches the organizational benefit of the colors.

    App has been super glitchy. Text is broken up weird. I submitted a question on the support part. I don’t believe I ever heard back, and I sent a message almost a week ago. Every time I try to look at the conversation, the app shuts down. Wasted my money for a membership on an app that doesn’t work.

  • Text all over the place

    I’ve been using this app for years now however, there is an issue with how all of my text in the app is appearing and the report an issue tab no longer works. Very disappointing and unfortunately I am ready to delete the app.

  • App started to Glitch out

    I purchased the subscription for a year. For the past month, it hasn’t been able to display the text in the selection options properly. The text intercrosses with one another, making the text incoherent. It also struggles with closing down the task list menu, and it will stay partially open as I explore different parts of the app. I have deleted the app and re downloaded it and the flaws are still there. If an update does not get installed, I will end the subscription. I wish I could post screenshots to show what I mean.

    I really love this app because it was a fun way to keep track of my to-do list, however, for some reason the letters are all jumbled on my screen and five days later, I have not received a response from customer service. It was fun while it lasted but I canceled my subscription as a result.

    I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and it has drastically helped me stay organized. I’ve used paper to do lists and phone reminders, but this has been a game changer. The daily review feature and setting priorities is great. Plus it’s gamified with the island development feature and the ability to donate water to water insecure people.
