  • Works to reduce jet lag

    I’ve been using this app and have been getting good results. On back to back 1 week trips from LHR-SFO and ICN-SFO I adjusted back to Pacific time within 1 day and without any apparent jet lag, which normally takes me 1-2 weeks. You should try it.

    I have chronic illness and jetlag has always been a nightmare for me. Because I’m a travel writer, I feel like I’m out of my circadian rhythm all the time! But I tried this app on a trip to Asia last year and now on another trip with a time difference of 12 hours and it worked like magic! I will never travel without this again.

    This was my first international flight. My son recommended this app. It was so amazing! No jet lag in either direction. Can’t wait to use it again next year!
  • Works well! But.. poor pricing model. Also poor timing of purchase / data error.

    If you are an engineer, you'll know pretty well that there is no reason for an app like this to use a subscription or per-trip pricing model. There is nothing that this would incur for the developer in terms of ongoing running costs per user. Everything can be done offline. Further to that, you must make a purchase to add a trip. In my case, I just arrived at the first leg stop of my trip, on a 5 hour flight. After making a purchase, the app tells me it can’t advise me on a trip when my first flight started more than 3 hours ago. Understandable, but the app really should be able to tell me that before I make a purchase.

    My girlfriend and I tried this and not only was it not helpful, we've been jet lagged for the first days of our trip and keep getting notifications about taking caffeine. Maybe it worked for others but not for us.

    I have used Timeshifter for two European trips and both had limited jet lag. Of course when you fly over on a red eye the first day is generally rough, but after that first nights sleep, I was ready to go with limited to no jet lag. If you follow the queues leading up to your trip and when you get there, you’ll be good to go. Highly recommend!

    I used Timeshifter for the first time tracking from central US to Sydney. By following the guidance pretty closely on the way there, I had almost no jet lag! I didn’t follow it on the way back and kinda did my own thing. Fared pretty well but not quite as good as the way over with Timeshifter. If you suffer from jet lag, this is a game changer!

    After a 20-hour travel day from the Midwest US to Tanzania and then a 32-hour trip home, I was stunned to have almost no jet lag symptoms. It works if you work it, and it is well worth the roughly $2 per month fee.
