    The app is very obviously not making auto buys for you as it is described. I had it set up every single day for a month but never received an auto buy. Of course they allowed me to get one once my subscription cancellation was about to take effect. I’m sure in an attempt to get me to resubscribe. Do not buy

    Pay for the auto buy and faster notification. 3 weeks of failed purchases. Don’t pay for it. It doesn’t do anything

    I’ve been using HotStock for about four years now and I don’t know how many times I was able to get items that are hard to get because this app alerted me. I don’t even use anything else for alerts. Thanks HotStock you guys are awesome.

    I wanted to buy a graphics card, the Intel Arc Limited Edition B580 at Best Buy. (Specifically Best Buy because I’m in HI, so shipping from B&H is $100, Newegg is like $30) This item comes in stock for a minute at most, then goes out of stock. It usually restocks after 15 minutes. The cycle repeats multiple times a day, until stock runs out, on weekdays at Best Buy, presumably they get a shipment of GPUs and trickle it out for buyers. Hotstock Autobuy is too slow and fails at best buy. Well, I also failed to purchase it, despite getting it in my cart multiple times… so the question, is Hotstock AutoBuy not faster than a human? If so that’s too bad, but not much I can do beyond writing my own bot. Which I really don’t want to go to that much work to purchase a single GPU at MSRP… I did set up Two factor Auth on BB and put the code into Hotstock, to try and get maximum speed, but I noticed HotStock would ask for my cvv during this month, multiple times, I did enter it but it kept asking so I’m not sure if I misconfigured something or if that’s just a limitation of Best Buy or something. It’s hard to tell since I wasn’t able to buy anything :( Another issue with autobuy is that you have to leave your phone on all night. It’s not good for an OLED iPhone, I used my iPhone 13 for this to preserve my current phone screen. I have suggested that they add a “dim/brighten” feature to autobuy so you can have it on the lowest possible brightness while it’s waiting (to preserve your screen) and then “increase” brightness when checking out if human intervention is needed (e.g. entering your cvv) Unconfirmed: i think there was a “bug” or maybe “feature” depending on how you look at it where i could have added price alerts on the website and not see them in the app but IDK exactly what was going on, this was a month ago, I think I could get notifications from Web price alerts in the app? But not sure, don’t care to try and reproduce.

    My first review was bad, I felt like the auto buy wasn’t getting me anything till today when it finally did. I kept watching it try and not get anything so that kinda was discouraging you just gotta be consistent.
