Youd think with how much money they made off of oshi no ko alone, they could use it to improve their app. I cant continue watching a series without having to search it up and find the last episode i was on. I tried changing my email connected to my account, it said it was changes and now its not?? Now I cant even open the app on my tv without getting an error message. Absolutely trash app and website across all devices

My beef with this app is with the AppleTV version, which fails at so many basic features of a video app it’s genuinely impressive; the phone version is better, but I want to watch anime on my TV and sound system, not my phone. What do I want an anime video app to do? Help me browse what’s interesting, let me mark a list of the stuff I want to watch, remember where I am in the things I’m watching, pick a sub/dub preference, and skip the credits if I’m binging and don’t want to watch them. Profiles are nice too. The AppleTV app fails at literally everything on that list other than browsing: your watchlist is buried under “settings” for some insane reason, it has a history list but does not remember where you are in a series or even mark which episodes you’ve already watched, you change the language preference not from the Settings link but by editing your profile, ands even then it randomly starts some (but not all!) episodes in dubbed form even if you have sub set. There’s no credit skip button, and in fact if you’re using a 3rd party remote it ignores the fast forward button so the only way to go forward or back is in 30 second increments, which is maddening and forced me to dig my Apple Remote out just to enable swiping. Adding insult to injury, the Home Screen does have a “continue watching” section at the top, but it contains only episodes that you stopped partway through, whether or not you already watched it and just went back to check something, then later watched subsequent episodes. I already saw episode 6, as well as the rest of the series, but it’s now permanently stuck at the top of my Home Screen because I went back to look at something for 10 seconds. Oh, they also disable the default keyboard input, so you can’t use your phone to type in your password, and if you create multiple profiles, you get exactly 3 choices of color for icon customization, period. They all say “HI” in the middle instead of having custom image or even your choice of initials. How a video app could do that many things wrong is beyond me, and it’s so bad I’m not planning on keeping my subscription.

Absolute trash, clunky interface that can’t remember what episode you’re watching. Doesn’t list the anime name on watching episodes, when you search it searches for episode titles instead of names of animes. I wish they would just go out of business and relieve us of this maddening nonsense.

The app needs major work with the UI but does have a good selection of shows.

Doesn’t work you’ll spend 15min to an hour to airplay useless that’s why everyone prefers to just look for different websites

It says I’m off-line even though I have cellular data. Why does this app only work on Wi-Fi?
