I’m only watching on hi dive for one or 2 shows, which were originally on Crunchyroll but I guess they bought out the show? Anyway, when you finish an episode it doesn’t automatically play the next one, or give you a prompt to start it. In fact it doesn’t even give you the option to play the next one anywhere! You have to search up the show your watching, click on it, then scroll to the episode you want and select it. How can a streaming service be this awful, I could probably pirate the shows on here and still get an automatic next episode. If I could rate this one star I would.

This has beef the most difficult subscription to cancel, little to no content and very difficult to get rid of if your trying to cancel the subscription, HIDIVE is like a leech or a tick… DONT DOWNLOAD!

Interface is garbage 🚮

Not just on the phone, on your desktop, on the Apple TV…. this is where all the x rejects landed. Only reason I have this is for 1-2 shows. Some say the pirated sites are somehow better than this Amazon backed bag of hot poop.

Great selection especially from the Sentai Filmworks catalogue, but the Apple TV app could use some work. Both the phone and TV app do not really track which episodes have been watched, so when you open up a title with multiple seasons you have to select the latest season. Apple TV app makes editing the profile preferences hard because the edit icon is small and easy to miss. Search function will return both episodes and titles with the search term. It will not accept nicknames like “danmachi.” It is possible to filter searches by “series,” “season,” and “VOD.” VOD is not explained but it appears to be filtering by episode title but it displays the series name and not the title of that episode. Subtitle timing and translations are good and I have no problems with the color, but some flavor text is hard to read (see Dungeon People’s brown text on tan background). Navigation on Apple TV could benefit from iPhone integration for typing rather than displaying a keyboard on the TV.

I subscribe but when i click on episode it’s keeps saying error tap to retry over and over again

Maybe just be the worst streaming site ever.

Aside from all the issues mentioned in other reviews, here are a few things with respect to offline viewing: 1. No way to download entire show/season, you’d need to download each episode manually 2. If you actually go through the trouble of #1 (because of a trip for example), you’ll end up with a single giant list of episodes without any sort of folder structure that doesn’t appear to be a even sorted by any meaningful way (name or timestamp). This makes it almost impossible to watch anything if more than one show was downloaded.

Please fix the continue watching its absolutely horrible. It only does for that episode and any other thing you have not finished make it for that particular anime.
