  • Living in the Tropical Western Pacific

Weather in the tropical western pacific is much different than most of the rest of the world. The line between a TROPICAL STORM & A SUPER TYPHOON is very small. Six weeks ago we had a direct hit from SUPER TYPHOON MAWAR. Sustained winds of 155mph with really insane rain falling sideways & breaching every window frame facing any direction. There was no stopping the water from flooding even my 7th floor condominium. In no time I had a few inches of water throughout my apartment. Power was out for almost 3 weeks. It was a huge challenge to just survive. But we made it. I don’t think there was any casualties. But the damage around the Island is still affecting life. The #WEATHER_CHANNEL broadcast vital information concerning all aspects of living through these conditions. Good job everyone in the system.
  • New Interface

    1
    By Poor Graphs
The new interface is difficult to navigate. The meaning of each graph is not immediately obvious and not labeled well. It takes me much longer to digest the data. For example, the precipitation graph is so teeny tiny and it’s hard to tell what’s going on. The colors aren’t sitting right with me either. I think I might actually cancel this app now. They made it worse, not better.
  • Storm speed

Speed of tracking is ridiculously fast even on very slow. Having to pause and manually run the progression is absurd. Your new bloated version has me rethinking continuing my subscription.
  • Degraded.

The new update isn’t that great, difficult to navigate and confusing to see what everything is supposed to be. I miss the old version. Also it’s quite inaccurate for my region often times changing the day for rain 3 times before it gets accurate.

i like the app, always a good source to check for storms, i pay the monthly fee for premium. But this recent update it has made it so complicated to see the simplest things.

Used this for years and pay for it. It was perfect. Now I find it totally unusable. I have spent over 3 hours trying to make me be the problem but I’m not. It totally sucks. I’ve called things bloatware before but this is ridiculous. Consider me cancelled and looking for a new (old) weather app.
  • New versus old

I really appreciate that you’re trying to give the website a new look, but I really like the way the old version provided information. It was succinct and efficient.
  • Used to be my favorite weather app

This used to be my go to weather app but the new update makes it impossible read. No longer user friendly.

I’ve had this app for years and being in construction it’s a necessity. The latest version is the best one yet
