  • A Thank You! to the Reviewers..

With every streaming app I use I ALWAYS read the reviews before installing an update. Because of those that take the time to give us a preview of what's to come w/each update (especially the iPad over the last year) I have avoided updating to a bigger mess. TBH, I absolutely love Britbox and have been a subscriber both directly through the app and a subscription. For YEARS I was never concerned about the updates. They were solid and I could trust that. You guys have lost your way. There were smaller issues.. and then the 'Premier Nightmare' took over. I haven't updated in 3mo's. I'm stuck paying for an app w/annoying kinks that are small compared to the awaiting nightmare. Please, for all of us who still believe in you, get it together. Do a monthly 'Premier' option if you have to. The dangling carrot routine is old and truly unfair for all who can/can't afford it. Please, try harder.

Please fix the app it’s annoying when you just sign up and you try watch a show it keeps taking forever to load with the blue circle or doesn’t load at all. And it makes you have to pay more if you want to keep watching a series which is unfair when you’re already paying enough monthly. If these changes don’t get fixed which is a shame you’ll start loosing customers.

Generic app, not really on par with the latest streaming services’ apps in functionality and ease of use. Side note: also not meant for travel and no downloading of content to watch offline.
  • Love the shows, but…

I hate the sound and cannot change it. It’s the music volume over voice that’s driving me to distraction. I have to turn on CC so I know what’s being said if there’s a music track in the show. It’s like it’s built for surround sound which you obviously do not have if you watch on your iPad like I do. I’d say I don’t watch as much as I’d like to just because of this issue.
  • Worst TV experience

Long time subscriber and love the content. The stars are for the content alone because the app is by far the worst of any streaming experience on AppleTV. Watch next is completely broken due to their premium early access model. When a new episode appears and you click it, it says you have to install this app. So I did, which required me to move from a channel subscription to app subscription, which I did. Picked the yearly since I love the content. But the watch next is still broken forcing me to manually open the app and check each show, writing down when it will actually be available. Once it IS finally watchable, you still can’t click it from the TV app as it will prompt you to subscribe to the channel instead. I subscribe to 4 streaming apps and 3 channels and none of them have this problem. This was once one of my favorite providers and is now just a constant source of frustration. I regret signing up for yearly trying to fix these issues.
  • Your tvOS app is broken

Seriously, have you tried it on Apple TV whatever update your developers pushed out broke the app. It just loads and loads and loads. Nothing happens. I can’t even get to a video. Please yell at your developers and have them roll back to the previous build until they can figure out what they did to break it.
  • Garbage app

Why would I pay for premium service when you can’t keep the platform up and running. You’re a joke and disgrace.
  • My 4th Negative Review

Britbox is by far the most unstable app on Apple TV. I continually demands that the password be entered and only recognizes it half the time. I am required to reset my password more than I would like. I never have these issues with any of the other apps. Please find someone who can design a stable app.
  • Please add monthly premium it’s time

As I keep saying people would like a monthly Premium Subscription option, please consider doing this now, as people are screaming out for it. It’s a superb choice of British television, both new and old, with various genres of viewing but wish that the new premium offerings were available on a monthly subscription basis and not just a yearly subscription.
  • Samsung Tv App feedback

In my experience with the BritBox app on Samsung TVs, the highlight color for navigation controls (such as play, forward, or next episode) is so faint that it’s difficult to see which control is selected. Additionally, when returning from the control menu back to playing, the app retains the previous control selection, which can be confusing. Ideally, it should reset the selection. Finally, pressing the back button exits the show entirely instead of just dismissing the controls. A more standard behavior, similar to Netflix, would improve the user experience.
