Bark for Professionals

I’ve been with Bark for roughly 7-8 years. I’ve paid them roughly 100k over those years now. I tried their amplify subscription because I figured why not it’s supposed to help with seo work and help boost your prescience organically. Well I gave it 3 months and it did nothing. So come the 3rd month I canceled it and they said they’d refund me a prorated amount and to give it 2 weeks. So I waited the time and I didn’t get a refund. I call again they tell me the same thing, I wait again and no refund, then I call again and no refund, then one last time and then they lie to me and tell me I got the refund when I didn’t! Mind you this is over $18.18…. Yes I know it’s not a big amount so you’d think they would make this an easy process yeah no. So they tell me I need to contact my bank because they sent it so out of good will I do so and the bank even said they’d refund are lying and would you like to dispute the charge I said yes because I figure I’m owed this money anyways so why not. So within the next day Bark freezes my account and I have no access to any of my 4,000 plus leads I’ve paid for over the years or the new leads coming in and this is now day 4 because after they froze my account I immediately go to my bank to cancel the dispute to try and get access to my account once again and after sending them a screen recording of me canceling the dispute they still do not give me my account back…. I have now submitted another screen shot of showing the dispute being canceled. I have never been treated so poorly by a company I have paid thousands of dollars to and been extremely nice to and referred other businesses to. I highly recommend never joining this company!!! They do not care if they are affecting your livelihood, they do not care how much money you’ve spent or how long you’ve been a customer I recommend finding any other lead generating service to go with that isn’t them! This is the most ridiculous treatment of a customer I’ve ever seen! And I know if I did this to one of my clients I’d be sued right away but because it’s their platform and their app you can’t sue them because then they will just ban you from the app and all your leads you’ve paid for because they can. This is the worst company I’ve ever worked with aside from Google but I haven’t even had an experience close to as bad as this from them!! So for the love of god do not give them your business and stay away! And Bark I sure hope you read this and make things right because this is wrong…. I would never treat one of my clients this way and just because you’re a bigger company it doesn’t make it right. Fix it and make it right!!

The buyer intent on this platform is very low. Even when someone contacts you back, sets something up, they will end up ghosting. Either very low buyer intent or a scam all together. Don’t waist your time or money.

Marking this review as 2 stars so it hopefully won’t get filtered out as spam or review bombing. I do not have a Bark account and didn’t know about Bark until today when someone on this site used my phone number to advertise. I have since gotten multiple text messages from people inquiring about that post. This app clearly does not have a satisfactory verification system in place to prevent fraudulent activity like this. If you do think this app would be helpful, I’d caution you to not spend money looking for leads or connections or whatever they call them. There is a good chance that you’ll be contacting a random person who has not even heard of this app prior to your contact attempt, like me. I have already reported multiple probably-valid phone numbers to my cellular provider as spam phone numbers. I emailed their complaint support team and got an auto reply asking for two working days to review my complaint due to “high volumes” of complaints. Avoid this app. There are better alternatives.

Bark has become way overpriced, and it dosnt help when 4/5 leads never respond and there is no way to get money back on those leads.

Been on here for 3 years. Never got a lead to respond to anything. Credits are in high quantity packs and priced unrealistically and leads use a ton of credits with some arbitrary calculation of their value, and expensive compared to others. Every time I look up forums about this app many people theorizing it’s just a money grab because most people I’ve seen or engaged with about this platform haven’t gotten anything out of it. I’d recommend work up your own lead gen, craigslist (I’ve gotten way more from there), or just about any other platform. But really, do your own organic lead generation

Purchased a 390 credits plan for over $686.40 and in less than 24 hours I was downgraded and no longer have access to the paid plan, reached out to their support but no one gave a positive response just a generic response…

I was trying to create an account for my business, but it is not allowing me to enter in a street address for tax purposes. I tried entering just the street number and name and also full address with city state and zip code but it doesn’t allow to click “see leads” Unable to create an account. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Do not download , it’s a scam website that has fake leads and fake customers

Once upon a time bark was awesome. They deliver on what they promise and I got really genuine clients that I still have. However they have been victims of their own success and all I get now are fraudulent leads trying to scam me. I used to work in compliance and I can spot those scammers miles away but most people don’t. These leads are expensive and since bark makes money even if they sell you a bad lead, I don’t see them rushing to fix their fraud problem. The fix is simple they just need to implement kyc practices that make work. Stay away because I’m and I used to love this biz.

Bark is an awesome platform for connecting clients to needed services. It is easy to use and quick to send information about clients you select. However, recently the app has signed in out but will not let me sign in; it only shows the prompts for signing up to use the service. As a result, I no longer have access to my leads through the app, only the browser.
