⭐ 1 out of 5 — I wish I could give ZERO. Bark has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating business decisions I’ve ever made. The service is EXTREMELY expensive, and the leads are almost always useless — if not outright fraudulent. I have purchased A LOT of leads through Bark, and not a single one has answered the phone or responded to a single email or text message. It’s like throwing money straight in the trash. What makes it even worse is that Bark is very clear that they do NOT return credits if the lead you purchased never replies. So you’re left paying outrageous prices for contacts who don’t answer — and Bark takes zero responsibility. It’s truly a waste of time, money, and hope. To make matters even more suspicious, I’ve had multiple leads block my business number immediately after I purchased them. I verified this by calling from my personal number or someone else’s phone, and the call would ring several times. But when calling from the business number, it would go straight to voicemail or say the person couldn’t be reached. That’s an obvious sign that my business number had been instantly blocked, and it happened over and over again. At this point, I strongly feel like Bark is preying on businesses by selling “leads” that are either uninterested or flat-out fake, and then hiding behind their “no credit return” policy to avoid accountability. I’ve wasted countless hours chasing down leads that never existed in the first place. Save yourself the frustration. Bark is not worth it — not financially, not mentally, and not professionally.

I signed up as a professional, completed my profile, and purchased credits to contact potential customers. When I joined, your platform stated that credits would be refunded if a customer didn’t choose my business. However, this has not been the case. Out of the 7 leads I purchased (totaling $128 USD), 4 turned out to be scams. One of the supposed customers even confirmed by phone that she never requested any service at all. Despite this, your support team informed me that there is no way to refund the credits simply because the phone number was “verified,” which doesn’t make sense given that the leads were clearly invalid. I’ve requested my guarantee refund, but it has taken an unreasonable amount of time to receive a clear response. I am very disappointed, as I trusted the platform’s quality and protection for professionals.

They completely reworked the credit purchase system so you HAVE to spend at least $140+ for a credit package (really like $180) They say each credit is about $2.30 but you cant buy individual credits. Each “lead” is pretty much an 11+ credit minimum and will most likely not be worth it as they allow someone to request a service with no date in mind.

I’ve used Bark for a while now and honestly, over 90% of the leads never respond. Most of them seem fake or uninterested, which makes this app feel like a scam. I’ve wasted both time and money on credits with almost no real clients. Bark really needs to verify its leads better or be more transparent about where they come from. Very disappointing experience.

Do not give this company any of your money. I am a firm believer that the reviews are AI automated and that they are scamming consumers I’ve spent hundreds of dollars within the last week testing this app. Not one actual client for the services listed. It does not work

The app worked great back in June. Then it was unusable.Now I can’t even create a profile because there’s no way to agree to the terms (button is grayed out preventing you from advancing).

Used to be great but so much has changed including your marketing. Bark used to advertise $500 DJ’s which was below market value to begin with but then started advertising $100 DJ’s driving bottom barrel customers to inquire. Bark is single handedly undercutting the professional DJ’s experience and craft.

Bark! Literally it would bring you to the barking point with poor customer service. Avoid their service at all cost if you’re a service provider. Most of their leads aren’t legit and it appears that Bark wants to burn our credits on purpose for sham leads. Verify your service requesters or return the credits to the service providers.

First, they send you "leads," but in reality, the people requesting services are actually looking for jobs. I have had to contact Bark multiple times to request a credit return because they send out false leads. Additionally, if you buy a legitimate lead but the person doesn’t answer your phone calls, emails, or text messages, they won’t return your credits. In short, don’t waste your time with this company. Response: I always submit a request for a return credit, but your team informs me that credits cannot be issued if the client does not respond. How is that my problem? Why should I lose my credit just because the potential client doesn't reply? I consistently reach out to the client through both email and phone calls. If I purchase a lead based on their request for services and they fail to respond, it is not my fault, and I should not lose my credits because of this.
