Description

A new mobile "Fate RPG," presented by TYPE-MOON! With an impressive main scenario and multiple character quests, the game features millions of words of original story! Packed with content that both fans of the Fate franchise and newcomers will be able to enjoy. Summary 2017 A.D. Chaldea, an organization tasked with observing Earth's future, has confirmed that human history will be eliminated at 2019. Without warning, the promised future of 2017 disappeared. Why? How? Who? By what means? AD. 2004. A certain provincial town in Japan. For the first time ever, a region that could not be observed appeared. Assuming that this was the cause of humanity’s extinction, Chaldea carried out its sixth experiment - time travel into the past. A forbidden ceremony where they would convert humans into Spiritrons and send them back in time. By intervening in events, they would locate, identify, and destroy the space-time Singularities. The mission classification is an order to protect Humanity: Grand Order. This is the title for those who would take a stand against human history and battle fate in order to protect mankind. Game Introduction A command card battle RPG optimized for smart phones! Players become Masters and together with Heroic Spirits, defeat enemies and solve the mystery of human history's disappearance. Outdated game with no auto play. Stories were pretty bad and events are grindy. I don’t like the game as there’s not enough Carmilla. Like it’s always Mash this, Mash that or some character I could care less about. I want Carmilla to go on an adventure with me in the story or events more often. The only thing good was the Las Vegas event and that’s it.

I have loved this game for years but it has a lot of time limited items and events that never come back to much makes it VERY hard to enjoy it. I have a limited character, chacha, who I will never get to use or level up because I never finished the event. And worse they just keep adding new stuff which makes It confusing for new players. Q

  • Abysmal drop rates

I’ve been playing on and off for a long time and it always stems back to the issue of drop rates. I can understand not drawing a big ticket card every time but I’ve only drawn maybe 2x 5 stars in the last year or so that I didn’t have to pay to play. I’ve done multiple draws for 5 stars and still gotten nothing. I think they’re more interested in the money they make from poor people who have impulse issues than they are in making a fun fair game. 1/5

Still say it has one of the best stories but, it isn’t aging well. The idle gacha battlers are poking holes in it. Trouble is the gameplay is from before them existing. So it can be very grindy. I used to play all the stories but now I skip most. Especially events. The stories in events are generic and dull. If you’ve seen a few, you’ve seen them all. KonoSuba and AFK Journey actually have much better gameplay. You can max out characters in them without rolling them in the gacha. Fate, you can’t do that. Which irritates me a little. Especially because some characters are extremely rare on the gacha summon rotation. Took me two years to get 4/5 Jeanne Avenger because they’d never put her up. Then another year for the 5/5. I could have maxed her in KonoSuba within a few months tops. Granted I’ve gotten all the characters I’ve wanted over the years but, I’d rather load up the others than Fate. This is just daily log in for monthly reward and then I’m out. There was hope they’d at least stop the grindy so much in the events but then this recent one: 300 ice blocks to unlock each ascension point for the Valkyrie welfare summon and you have to grind the same mission for hours to get them all. Sorry but that alone made me write this review. Some grind is fine but that was excessive.

I am updating my previously 5-star review to 1 star. The developers over the course of four years have made the game progressively worse. They’ve removed popular game modes, stopped rerunning old events, and implemented predatory character enhancement systems that require you to spend more and more money. Their 8th anniversary failed to bring any meaningful quality of life updates, and only a way to spend more money. Their 9th anniversary brought actively negative mechanics to the game. The developers seem to have given up on creating FGO as a game, and instead use it as a greed-fueled piggy bank. It is far inferior to any modern gacha game in every way imaginable and only held afloat by the IP it’s tied to. You’re much better off playing Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, or any other modern game. Save yourself the time and hassle with FGO, it’s only downhill from here.

To be completely honest here, the story is wonderful you won't find anything better then it when it comes to gacha games. Alright positives are done. The gameplay is actually horrible this game looks like it was made in 2000 and it doesn't improve really at all unless you have a newer limited 5 star. The gacha system by the way is one of the worst Ive ever experienced. It takes 500 pulls to for pity you don't know what you're pity is and it doesn't carry over between banners. The company refuses to make substantial improvements to this game no matter what and the EN version is a whole 2 YEARS behind JP which is the original. Which means running into spoilers online is guaranteed. Honestly I hate this game I play for the story, which by the way the fights in this game are so stupid and the bosses have so much health you will spend an hour on a single boss to get it to its final phase only for it to one shot you.
