I use this app in film/tv industry. It has become an invaluable tool to check for lightning to enact our safety protocols should it strike within our zone. The ability to change the diameter of the zone as well as the time tracking capabilities makes this app a must have.
  • Temporary Mute please!!

Great app, not overly fussy but enough options to work well for my purposes of clearing sports fields during weather events. I do really wish you could mute the alerts temporarily like other apps (ex 1hr, till tomorrow, etc) without turning a off this app’s notifications or changing the radius to 0 as the app suggests. I then have to set a reminder to restore my original settings, doable but annoying. I need this for work so I need it reliably, but I also want to just mute it when I’m at home…inside…not thinking about work.
  • Cloud to Cloud vs Cloud to Ground

I love this app. I also have a suggestion for future updates of this app that if we click on a lightning strike it tells you whether it’s cloud to cloud or cloud to ground

The animated radar slider isn’t working. If you don’t change the name back to the Gulf of Mexico, I won’t be renewing my subscription for next year

Would like to see an option to remove future radar prediction or make that seperate from the radar when you press play on the map Slow loading lately. Especially if you want to load the radar. Not very efficient on low data plans like hotel wifi at 3-7 mbps. Could use some improvement there.

As a Swim Coach, I use the UIL Lightning Rules & this app to determine safety while reaching outdoors. A MUST for ALL outdoor Coaches!
  • One of the BEST weather apps

I use this incessantly when there’s any weather in the area. Forecasts native to the phone operating system seem to be unreliable at best, so when there’s any “developing” system in the region (you can set how far you’d like your notifications to encompass), this app alone is my go-to app to get a good picture of what I can expect in the coming minutes/hours. Love this app.❤️
