    Land.id is the absolute GOAT of the land industry! The platform is unmatched for researching, mapping, and truly understanding land—but what makes it even better is the team behind it. At my company, we use Land.id daily to run lightning-fast due diligence, which allows us to move quicker than ever on acquisition offers. In fact, this tool often helps us understand properties better than the owners themselves. Having the ability for my team to evaluate U.S.A. land from anywhere in the world is critical to our operation—and it’s how we consistently stay ahead of the competition. The features we rely on most are the ever-expanding layers and the ability to draw parcel outlines—perfect for planning and developing future lots for resale, which is our primary business. On a personal note, after I sent them a letter, the Land.id team went above and beyond by writing back with a thoughtful note and even sending me an official Land.id hat and sticker. It’s rare to find a company that not only builds a powerful tool but also genuinely cares about its users. (My brother and business partner is still a little jealous of that hat!) If you’re looking for the best platform to evaluate and visualize land, look no further. Whether you’re a beginner, investor, developer, or broker—Land.id is a game-changer.

    Purchased for determining boundaries. Used for 3 parcels, boundaries and land owner info for all 3 are incorrect. Search results are inaccurate.

  • App just doesn’t work

    I used this app for a while about a year ago and it worked great at the time. When I needed an app to help find some property I’m looking for I went back to this app expecting great things and paid for a year subscription. Unfortunately, it’s absolute garbage. Layers don’t even become an option until I’ve been in the app for a couple minutes, and then only randomly. I can’t get any of the contours to turn on despite the button saying they are on. It’s just a bad experience all around that renders the app essentially useless. Very frustrating experience and a complete waste of money.

  • **Completely Unreliable for Property Line Work**

    I downloaded LandID specifically to help navigate property lines using known survey stakes, but this app was absolutely useless for the task. The GPS accuracy was so poor it’s essentially broken. **Major Issues:** - **Terrible GPS accuracy**: The app would randomly place me 50 feet on one side of the actual property line, then suddenly jump to 50 feet on the other side with no rhyme or reason - **Constant signal loss**: Continuously lost GPS signal even in areas with clear sky visibility - **Backwards directional tracking**: When I walked in one direction, the app would often show me moving in the completely opposite direction - **No correlation with reality**: I was using a physical compass to verify my actual location and direction - the app bore no resemblance to where I actually was For an app that’s supposed to help with property boundaries and land navigation, these GPS issues make it completely worthless. I was walking between established survey stakes and the app couldn’t even get close to showing my correct position. **Bottom Line:** Save your time and money. If you need accurate property line information, hire a surveyor or use a different solution. This app is not ready for real-world use and certainly can’t be trusted for property boundary work. Would not recommend.

  • Outdated Owner Info

    A parcel I looked up was sold in February 2025. It’s now 7 MONTHS LATER and the owner name has not been updated. I reported the error but Land ID just blames county records. The new ownership was recorded with the county the day the sale closed. This app is worthless if info is outdated.

    See title. Edit: according to dev response, price has not increased since I can downgrade my service. Ha. We are sick of price creep for memberships and subscriptions.
