I’ve enjoyed being a part of the Nanit community. I can watch my Granddaughter from my phone anywhere. Definitely worth the price.

Lots of useful features. Some behind paywalls. Very power hungry app. Still has some glitches to be worked out. Such as when you close the app, it keeps running in the background somehow sucking battery.

The reviews on this app must be fake. The app updates are literally making the app worse with every iteration. You used to be able to see a quick summary of all the activities throughout the night via a quick button on the Home Screen, and now it just says “night in progress”, the button is unclickable, and literally the only button I used is now not working anymore. You now have to scroll through all the raw footage manually to be able to give yourself a summary of all the wakes throughout the night. Why on earth would you remove the one feature that was good? I truly would not recommend this app to any new friends having a baby.

I love my nanit but my only issue with it is the sleep training/feeding advice it gives. It really pushes not feeding to sleep and some other things like trying to get baby to not wake at night by 7/8 months. This is not what is biologically normal and needs to be reconsidered.

Always accurate monitoring and really helps with the scheduling for sleeps and check back if new people are introduced to what we have for schedules

I don’t know what I would do without seeing my babes when i am not home
  • Gaps in video history despite paying subscription.

I have great internet and am very aware of I ever have outages. My camera is constantly throwing gaps in my video history. When viewing “moments” the viewing screen just goes grey and doesn’t let me play/pause yet I can see them if I select via the notifications. The notifications are hit or miss. Mind you, I’ve been using this camera for three years now and I’d say it has just gotten worse. I stopped trusting it after my little one was about 6 months and it didn’t notify me that he was awake. He fell off our very, very close to the ground bed (thankfully) but still just been disappointed. I’ve been paying the same subscription the entire 3 years and within the last year somewhere (no idea when because I wasn’t notified), my subscription tier was modified and it’s now more expensive to have access to what I used to. Eventually, I will buy a different set up and will not be suggesting Nanit to other parents.
