When it works, it’s great, but it disconnects an awful lot so I’m constantly sneaking into the baby’s bedroom while he’s asleep and trying to unplug and replug it. And for how expensive the camera is, I would hope that the features would be free instead of having to pay additional fees every year.

Excellent monitoring for the baby. So nice to be able to use the speaker. So nice to have the chat support and education. So nice there can be many viewers.

I’ve done the research and testing top level monitors, nothing compares or comes close to Nanit. Worth every penny!

You guys have broken this app. Nothing works anymore. A year ago it was 10x more reliable.

We love nanit. But we have had about 5 instances now where the app will suddenly disconnect from the camera and we get a “Check Network Connection” issue that leads us down a path where configuration requires us to troubleshoot with the camera. If this happens in the middle of the night or while we arent home, we basically have no visibility on baby, and that makes us panic. I’m not happy with this “bug” nanit has and am leaving a negative review for that reason. It’s a safety concern

Please add camera rotation option in landscape mode

Love it but would be a HUGE Improvement if Nanit can find a way to incorporate a 360* to pan the entire room not just the crib area.

It’s unfortunate how predatory company practices have become. We bought our second Nanit and set it up much like our first one, however, now Nanit REQUIRES providing credit card or billing information to even activate their product. Even though a subscription isn’t required, selecting on of their services is that can be cancelled after a free trial is needed for setup. Maybe I’m paranoid but I hate it when companies force customers to provide their billing information or sign up for a reoccurring billing just to use a product that has already been bought and paid for.

I’ve used this camera for two years now and it’s been a painful experience the whole way. It’s the only device in our house that consistently loses connection and when it does, the white noise stops. Why the white noise needs an internet connection I’ll never understand. It’s so intermittent, I have it on a Kasa smart plug so I can restart it multiple times a day without reaching for the outlet. Really just not a reliable product.
