  • No Earthquakes coverage

    By Rapanui820
Great coverage for the niners, but I am a Earthquakes fan. There is no coverage for this team whatsoever. Seems strange. Please hire a journalist to cover this team!
  • Since the beginning

Great In-depth writing. Great scoreboard. Can do without the advertising. Love the top notch sportswriters.
  • There is nothing proprietary about them.

Save your money, everything they write you can see for free in google…. literally.. but they will gladly take your money!!
  • Huge ADS, Text Size

    By OldHouse9999
Huge ads in the articles for the Athletics own content can take up 75% of the screen on a PAID SUBSCRIPTION!!! Text size STILL doesn't match system text size. Too large for those of us with great eyesight.
  • I’m unable to post comments

    By SlimCed
I’m unable to post comments on articles; without that ability I can’t give anything higher then a one star rating.
  • Move Over Sports Illustrated and Sporting News

    By Doug_B33
For $12 for the year $1 a month this is the best investment for all your sport’s coverage needs. They got them all covered from NASCAR, to soccer, ncaa, and all the professional sports. You pick the leagues and teams and you are on your way. If you’re not getting the context you want that’s on you.
  • Wokey woke mediocrity

    By mgoblue79
There was a time when The Athletic was worth the money. Not anymore. Overzealous censors and underwhelming writers.
  • Can you make it easier to read the best writing from your columnists each day?

    By Origi101010
Maybe put your star writers and best writing on the same page so I don’t have to find it accidentally. Just have a list of top columnists across all sports so I can click through each one when I’m in the app. Simple as that
  • Downward spiral

    By rhythmsyndicate
Ever since The Athletic was purchased by the NYTimes, there has been a steady decline in quality articles and content. Adding these annoying advertisements plastered all over for a site that’s behind a paywall gets bothersome as well. Lastly, the inclusion of politics and social justice pieces has turn this into ESPN. Not gonna renew my subscription after it expires. I find myself checking in other sources which is disappointing.
  • Lacking Tennessee Vols coverage

    By Vols fan 22
Vols beat a top 10 Texas team convincingly yet no coverage. Little coverage of them except if and when they lose. No beat writer and infrequent coverage from the columnist 2.5 hours away.
