I have an old charge that a major company sold to a company for collections. I got notification of this and challenged it providing information that it is not the original debtor but a company that had bought it from the original debtor that should not be on my credit report at all. But for some reason, these idiots said no you owe this to these people. What a waste of time using these morons.

I love Experian because it allows you to see your credit score for free and it also allows you to put a freeze on your account for no cost
  • Be careful Membership Scam

I NEVER signed up for any premium membership, yet they’ve been charging me $29.99 per month without my consent! I never received a sign-up confirmation email or monthly payment receipts—nothing! They deliberately make it extremely difficult to cancel the membership. Even if you manage to find the cancellation option, they force you to either call or send a physical letter to their customer support. But guess what? They hide their customer support number! All they show is their business hours, nothing else. I had to Google the number myself, and that’s when I discovered countless others facing the exact same issue. When I finally got through to customer service, they tried to blame it on someone else, claiming that “someone must have used my credit card to sign up”—which, coincidentally, is the same excuse others have reported online. But when I checked my credit card activity, there were no other fraudulent charges. If my card had been stolen, there would have been multiple suspicious transactions, not just one single unauthorized charge from their app! And here’s the kicker: I only received an email confirmation AFTER they canceled my membership! So why didn’t I get a confirmation email when I was supposedly signed up? Why didn’t I get monthly payment receipts? Because this is a SCAM! This company is clearly trapping people into subscriptions and making it nearly impossible to cancel. They need to be reported and held accountable!

I have been a member of this credit monitoring app for the past seven years, and I check my credit report monthly. Thanks to this app, I was able to get preapproved for a home loan for the first time in my life late last year. I attribute this achievement to the Experian app, as I consistently monitored my credit limits and debt-to-income ratio.
