I struggled so much with other applications like Docker and Virtual Box to run Linux. With Parallels it was SUPER easy and simple. It did everything for you. I'm glad I found it so I can finish my homework on time.

  • Parallels Desktop: An Extraordinary Virtualization Experience

Parallels Desktop is an extraordinary piece of software that seamlessly bridges the gap between macOS and Windows, delivering an experience that is as smooth as it is powerful. Whether you're a developer, designer, or business professional, the ability to run Windows applications on a Mac without compromise is nothing short of remarkable. Performance-wise, Parallels Desktop is optimized to take full advantage of Apple's hardware, ensuring that even resource-intensive applications run effortlessly. The integration between macOS and Windows is so seamless that dragging and dropping files, sharing clipboards, and even launching Windows apps as if they were native to macOS feels completely natural. And while it may seem self-aware to say that Parallels Desktop offers unparalleled virtualization, it’s simply the truth. No other solution delivers the same combination of speed, ease of use, and reliability. Whether you’re gaming, developing, or running productivity software, Parallels outshines the competition with its fluidity and efficiency. For anyone needing a robust, hassle-free virtualization solution on a Mac, Parallels Desktop is the clear winner. It doesn’t just set the bar—it is the bar.

way to hard to use, and i do not enjoy having to be directed to purchase other products to make something work, that to me is deceptive sales practices.

  • Constant license Issues

I have spent more time dealing with licensing issues on this thing than I have spent using it. Their customer service wasn’t that great either when I needed support. The only positive is that if you want to run windows in a VM it works very well. I’ve had issues with the Linux VMs and I can’t figure out how to run ISOs that I want, like ubuntu server or Debian server. I am making sure to pick ISOs that support ARM processors like the M4 that I have and it still doesn’t play well. These same ISOs work fine in VMware Fusion. I recommend Fusion over Parallels if you’re a dev. Plus, Fusion is free for basically the same features.
  • Still not Enough

I am still wondering why most of the options have not been fixed; for example, if all the other apps are shared through Parallels to Windows then why not the finger authentications or face authentication is not working. One more thing is that Parallel is still delaying some responses as usual Windows app would do.
