Support for MS650 downright awful. Streaming over Wi-fi. Apple Music, Spotify it doesn’t matter. The likelihood of having a reliable streaming experience is less than winning the lottery.
  • What about a new version and supporting the current iOS?

  • Update app

Please update this APP it’s been 3 yrs and I haven’t been able to use my speaker bc it’s not connecting and it’s very frustrating. It shouldn’t be this difficult. The speaker disconnects frequently then I have to reset it and it’s not allowing me. It says to connect phone to WiFi which it is, the same as the speaker but keeps showing me the same message.

Needs to be updated. Having issues with my soundbar not letting me setup surround sound with rear speakers and subwoofer. Manual says to use the app but the app is not showing me the option. I miss the days of not needing an app. Products are dead once they stop supporting the app.

Absolutely trash don’t waste money on this crap Bluetooth will “break” on you and you’re left with a completely useless speaker that can’t can’t connect to wifi or Bluetooth. And this app does absolutely nothing to actually help.
  • Great app - wish it was updated

The multi-room player is very easy to use to connect multiple WiFi based speakers … only wish it would be updated to work with newer operating systems.

On July 9, Samsung app no longer connects and continuously, like at the stroke of midnight, reboots on ALL 6 of my speakers. Forums are blowing up that we now own bricks instead of speakers. This app has always been terrible, now it’s the death knell that we knew would come. Turns out they broke a relationship with iHeart and Deezer so the hardware keeps trying to connect to these streaming services. It won’t and you can’t find a way around it. Go Sonos.
  • Done with R1

I have messed with this for five or six years and I have had nothing but headaches with connection issues. We woke up last night with multiple R1s in our bedroom telling us that Wi-Fi is ready. I’m not sure what that is about but after spending hours trying to reset the speakers, I have nothing to show for my efforts other than fewer speakers telling me that my Wi-Fi is ready. I have eight of these speakers as I bought many of them open box at Best Buy when other people got rid of them. Great sound when it works but they are probably more usable as eight doorstops.
  • Samsung Multi Room Crap

This app is the most infuriating app I’ve ever worked with. Very difficult to connect if and when it works. Impossible to stay connected. At least once a week I have to delete the app completely and start the exhausting process of connecting which takes anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Today I’ve wasted 45 minutes and I still can’t get a connection. What is the point save yourself the trouble and purchase Sanos.
  • System works great

I have 7 Samsung wireless speakers of various types throughout my house and use asset upnp software on a raspberry pi to serve up my music. MultiRoom sees my raspberry pi as a dlna server and plays my music and the system works great. My only wish is that I could control the Samsung wireless speakers or the MultiRoom through my Google Home. Maybe someday they'll have that feature.
