UNUM — Layout & Feed Preview

Utter chaos. Glitchy. Undoes your work. Moves your content on its own. Not user friendly. No collaboration between two users. Multiple symbols all over the content that you can’t remove which makes it hard to focus and think straight.

I love this app but it really needs to update to IGs new grid layout. The dimensions no longer match up and when you go to select another grid dimension it doesn’t have any that match IGs as an option. Kinda defeats the purpose of using it to plan my feed when I go to post and and on IG it’s way more zoomed in. They should also have it where you can crop the photos on the feed/ zoom in and out. When I try to use the crop feature it just does the actual photo but not the way it shows in feed. Like I said just defeats the whole purpose :/

The features they advertise are not reality. Apple refused to give me a refund so I guess apps are allowed to scam users now. Don’t buy a pro plan, the features aren’t real and they keep trying to get you to pay over and over again and it’s always a different price. This app is a scam!

Absolutely one of my favorite apps that I’m quick to recommend to anyone. I’ve only had one small issue over the year plus ives used it and with just a matter of few hours, support responded to my email and resolved the problem.

I used to LOVE this app but once it updated you can only have a public professional account!!

This is an ideal tool especially for entrepreneurs and small business owners and startups!

I used to love this app for previewing my feed. It only had a few issues with logging me out of my connected IG accounts but it wasn’t a big deal. I liked the editing features it has for photos, but they recently changed the requirements. Only business or creator accounts can use this app. I wish they allowed private accounts to use it too…

I loved this app have used it for soooo long but with the new update I have to now have a professional instagram account? Are you joking? I have a private account and will be keeping it that way. I used this app to decide which order to make my posts so they look nice on my feed. I’m so disappointed I can’t log in now without changing my account privacy and being a “creator/business account” what a silly update. Customer lost.

I’ve been using UNUM for who knows how many years now.. 7, maybe even 10 years? For a long while it was great to use. Unlimited blanks to arrange photos and create the ideal aesthetic for my feed based on what cover photo I’d think would blend best with the other recents, and create a cohesive look. At least that’s what it used to be. I understand that (almost 3-5 years ago) the developers had to create tiers for their users and create a sense of a “premium” experience. So what used to be free, unlimited blanks, you now were limited with the free version, and had to upgrade and pay to get the unlimited. Okay, fine. No big deal, I can still do what I need to do just alright. But my issue is I’m a casual user, I post maybe 3-4 times a year so I have to log in each time. That’s fine with me. Kind of tedious, but not the end of the world. But now, maybe I’m just missing something, but I can’t even seem to use the app at all, not even the free version, unless I log in with a “professional” or a business account that’s linked with Facebook.. I’ve been using this app for nearly a decade. And as a casual user who doesn’t want to turn my account into a “professional account”, but still wants a cohesive look to my feed, the fact that it feels like I can’t even use an app to do the basic arrangements anymore without basically being an “official influencer” really stinks. I figure my single review alone won’t make or break the developer’s business. They won’t hurt from one person who has this experience. But maybe there’s others out there like me? Casual users not looking to turn their account into a pro/business account? Again, maybe I’m missing something, but it’s pretty frustrating that I loved to use this app for so long and they’re just making it harder and harder for every day people to use it. Maybe it’s still available to log in as a regular without a pro/business account, but I haven’t been able to find how to do it at all in their app. Which leads me to say that their user interface also looks really complex from what it used to be. I get innovation for design is a must to grab people’s attention and make the app exciting to use but also personally, I feel less is more. There’s so much ongoing and it feels really complex to use. Maybe it’s because I’m not a “professional” or a business account that needs all these extra tools, but I wish there was a way to customize the UI tailored to what the every day person may need so all these extra tools tabs don’t look cluttered. I guess today’s the day I give up on UNUM and find another way to organize my feed with an app that offers more simplicity in their design and doesn’t make you jump through hoops to do the bare minimum functions of their app’s concept. TDLR: Find a way to log in without needing a professional/business account (or making it easier to find the log in), simplify the UI, and consider how many regular users that could benefit from your app, instead of branding the app only towards content creators.

Loved this app for a long time, unfortunately it stopped working with my Instagram. It hasn’t worked for the past few months. Even when I turn my account to public it doesn’t load!
