This is a great app that got me started with making music. I've used it since I was in high school, with projects I still have saved dating back 8 years. I've stuck with this app for this long because it's been that good, and updates have improved it over time, and I've inevitably had a subscription for a long time as well. However, recently, due to financial issues, I haven't been able to pay for the subscription, and have therefore mostly been using it to listen to old music and make overly-simplified example songs with the free instruments. This has been fine for awhile, as instruments only available to paid users had a small lock to show which you'd need a subscription to use. However, that was removed in a recent update; the developers of this app intentionally removed a feature letting you know which instruments weren't available to you so that you'd try and tap on it and get issued an ad for the subscription. This is, to put it bluntly, disgustingly greedy behavior, and with the extreme slowdown of worthwhile updates and improvements, sets a very bad precedent and very poor vibes for the future of this app. Making the app more annoying to free users only makes me want to stop using this app, and with how the price of the subscription has only gone up, it seems that the passion for making a quality app for efficiently and conveniently creating music on-the-go is gone, leaving behind a profit-only mindset that leads to exclusively terrible decisions like this. Like I said, bad vibes coming from this. And, if the developers want this to not be the precedent set, then it's up to them to both not make these bad choices, but also make choices that show their commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of the app; something that has seemingly been dwindling as time goes on. For the developers of this app: Making your app worse for free users completely flies in the face of having a free app, and is just goong to push people away. Even from a business mindset, this was a stupid decision, and should be undone.

Ever since the new update I can’t customize lm1 from mars and I have to use premium so I can, which I don’t really like,

Bro I have to pay to make a beat I don’t know why but it’s either yearly which is $40 or monthly which is more

Update: They claimed the (later mentioned) hardware product would come in fall of 2025. It’s now March 2026, and no word. I’m not mad, just a little confused… has it gotten slightly delayed? Or is it not available in the US? OG Review: The app I’m paying $45/year for is finally getting updates again. Thank goodness! Also, I looked into why they weren’t updating the app, and it seems the company is working on a hardware product, so it makes sense that they focused on that rather than the app. Nevertheless, I’m glad Auxy is returning to normal. There’s one issue with some of the recent updates, however: the feature to browse instruments and samples by sound pack is completely gone, and this was my go-to way to browse sounds. What made you decide to change this?

this app is okay, but overall isn’t that great. you have to pay for actually good sounds, and you only get a handful of free sounds if you don’t pay. plus the design isn’t very well thought out. it’d be a whole lot better if there were more free sounds and better/more unique sounds. p.s, developer, i’ve read other reviews and i see you have a sense of humor. 5 stars

Is it possible that there will be Flanger and other modifications for sounds that would be crazy cool, I would be so happy if that’s possible ❤️:)

This is a really good app but I want to see where rap tracks are

I downloaded this app to make music but it was so different and kept asking me to buy priemuim and I only had loop melodies and there are only abt 8. Melodies basses and beats I would download this app again only if it gives me the video I wanted!!!!!!!!!!
