Wow, Rick and I would’ve got along a lot better if I would’ve listened to this a long time ago
  • Some omissions and incorrect setup information

I downloaded Clarity and was informed that I would have a seven day free trial. However, after one day, I received an email from Apple stating that I had been billed for a year of the application in full. I had used a previously but was not aware that I had actually purchased it and apparently my trial period was considered to be up, but that is not what it said when I started the application. My other concern is that although this is a cognitive behavioral therapy application, it does not provide a daily thought record to do actual cognitive behavioral therapy. It does allow you to do journaling. It does provide feedback and it labels emotions and so forth, but it is missing one of the core elements of cognitive behavioral therapy. Perhaps it is in there somewhere but so far I have yet to find it. This application can be useful for some people, but it does not appear to provide actual cognitive behavioral therapy. I am going to try to contact the developer to see if I can get a refund and we will see what happens.

Turns off my music when I open the app.
  • I hope the developers read this. Updates were not good.

I’ve been using this app for over three years and highly recommended it to my clients (I’m a therapist) The overall selling points were the simplicity of the app, icons and gratitude list. Recently they changed the gratitude list to some worthless and unnecessary prompts. Making it less effective and time consuming. The second down fall is that the buttons don’t coincide with my iPhone update, making it impossible to push “next” on my phone. I can recommend the cbt function, and continue to enjoy the data graphing which can help a person identify patterns with mood. Developers, bring back the “old” gratitude list and update the iPhone mobile format!

What an extremely helpful and intuitive app. I was so happy when I found this and I’m able to use it frequently. Their customer support team is on point. Do not hesitate to use this for some CBT AI therapy. It has many other wonderful features as well.

App appears to be programmed for human engagement rather not human help. Logging how you feel can be helpful, but this app encourages tech addiction and dependency.
  • Good but…

I should emphasize that this is a supplemental tool for therapy, and quite effective too; using it during the trial period alone helped me with my thoughts and feelings about work life balance, which is then brought up effectively in my therapy sessions. 5/5 for app itself. However… My main gripe is that the app supports Family Sharing, but you can’t enable it within setting for iCloud family, implying that Pro Mode doesn’t allow to be shared with loved ones (in my case, my girlfriend). 3/5 until change is implemented.

it will help me explain and express my thoughts and feelings but it will definitely take time

This app has been so helpful in organizing my day, writing out where I am emotionally in the moment, and helping me learn more about my thoughts and feelings but… I really wish I could use the app on my laptop and I wish there was better syncing with my iPad. I do an activity on the app on my phone and when I go on my iPad later in the day, it shows like I haven’t done that activity yet.
